The BasePower Solution

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, Tritax, the site developer, had already embarked on a strategic initiative to integrate solar PV technology into the build at a significantly higher capacity than at comparable sites. As part of this strategy, the first wave of solar panels were installed on one of the warehouse roofs during the base construction phase.

Through an energy services partnership, BasePower worked in close collaboration with Tritax to implement the PV solar strategy. BasePower conducted thorough assessments to verify the proper installation of the initial solar panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practice. Following the successful installation BasePower assumed responsibility for the commissioning and operational go-live for of each of the installs.

BasePower now manages the Operations and Maintenance of each the PV installs, including metering and bill assembly on behalf of the landlord.
